Competitors Coupons at Walmart

EXAMPLE:

VS has a TV for $50 on this week advertisement , You go to walmart and found they have it at $90

You bring your ad and they will adjust the price for you Yes you will get the same TV at the advertising price of $50.

How this works?

Step1

Before you go to Walmart for your discounts, start the Sunday before. Sit down and look over all the four color store ads that are part of your local newspaper. Just like any other week, review the ads and see what items you would like to purchase, no matter what store, and set them down in a pile.

Step2

Now you have your items and projected discount of the items you wish to buy, start composing a list you can take to Walmart. You will need to bring the list, the newspaper ads you are referencing and a pen.

Step3

Now before you leave for Walmart, take a highlighter and highlight, on every ad you have an item on, the circular date that the specials are good for (usually found on the last page of the ads.) Also highlight the items you plan to buy by circling the ad and photo on the newspaper so it is easy to see.

Step4

Once you get to Walmart to find your discounts, grab a cart. Pull out your list and your pen. Start searching the store for the item you see in the newspaper ad. According to the Walmart policy, it needs to be the exact size, type and color of the product advertised (which isn't really all that hard to find.) Place those items in the shopping cart. And on your list, write down the Walmart price of the item.

Step5

After cruising around Walmart and filling up your shopping cart, it is time to check out and take your happy savings at home. To get your discounts, you will need to be in a regular line. Upon getting to the cashier, let them know you have ads to take advantage of the Walmart Competitor Program and hand the ads to them before they start checking you out.

Step6

At this point they will call over the manager who will check you out and provide the discounts. This individual will check the price of the competitors ad, the date of the sale and that the item is completely identical, but since you have done this already, it won't take long.

Step7

After they ring you up, notice the savings on the receipt of your items. This is going to be significant!!!

THE POWER OF A RAINCHECK

Worst Case Scenario: It’s last day of the sale. You have your coupons clipped. You are ready to go. You get to your favorite store and they are OUT of the rock bottom sale price items. Frustrating. What is a couponer to do? Don’t get mad, Get a “Rain Check.” Rainchecks are usually available for advertised specials unless it states “While Supplies Last”, “Quantities Limited”, or simple “No Rain Checks.”
Raincheck
A seller’s commitment to sell an out-of-stock item at the advertised price as soon as it becomes available.
Each store has its own rules on Rain Checks so you will want to check your store for their policy. For example, Marsh Rain Checks expire in 14 days. So usually they are completely pointless for me to get because sometimes even in 14 days, the item is still not in stock or by then my coupon has expired without a new one . Other stores like Walgreens Rain Checks never expire.
Your mileage may vary on Rain Checks for Extra Care Buck or Register Reward generating products. This policy varies by location, store, manager, mood of cashier. One way you can maximize a Rain Check at Walgreen’s is if an Easy Saver Product is on sale this week and it is out of stock, you can get a Rain Check for the sale price and use the next week and you will still earn your Easy Saver Rebate. I’m pretty certain they will not issue a Rain Check for Register Reward items but they will for sale items and weekly store coupon items.
How to Use Rain Checks to Your Advantage
I say don’t get mad because Rain Checks can be used to your advantage. If it is a rocking deal, get a Rain Check for the maximum number of items allowed. It will allow you to have more time to gather additional coupons or wait until new coupons out if there are no current coupons available.
I’ve only actually done the Rain Check thing a couple of times because there usually isn’t much that I absolutely have to have anymore because our stockpile is so great. One hint is to make sure to give your cashier your raincheck as they are ringing up the item as they usually have to manually adjust the price. So if you purchasing a whole cartload of stuff, it takes them extra time to find it in the receipt.

10 Tips to Increase Your Coupon Stash

As someone who never used a coupon until 6 months ago, I have been able to increase my coupon stash immensely! I know some of you are new to couponing, so I wanted to share my tips to beginning and growing your coupon stash.1. Subscribe to the Sunday paper. There are anywhere between 1-4 inserts each Sunday and after just a few weeks, you'll have a good start to your stash. The typical inserts include Smart Source (SS), Red Plum (RP), and P&G. There is usually a big P&G insert at the beginning of the month, so you'll want to make sure to get that one.I recommend subscribing rather than just picking up the paper, though, since there are more coupons for subscribers. Many papers offer options to just buy the weekend or Sunday paper, which may be cheaper for you.2. Along the same lines, it can help to get multiple copies of the inserts. Some ways to do this include asking friends, family, or neighbors that don't use coupons for theirs, checking recycling centers/bins, or ordering multiple papers. And yes, I have gone to the recycling bins and I'm amazed at how many coupons are thrown away each week!3. Sign up for Samples. Each week, I highlight many different FREEBIES that companies are offering. Although it is great to try the samples, they usually come with some high value coupons as well.4. Use Printable Coupons. There are multiple places to get printable coupons. You can scroll and print coupons from coupons.com in my sidebar or go directly to Coupons.com! ONLINE COUPONS EASY TO PRINT

These are my favorite internet printable coupons as they always have a barcode that scans. Never had a problem at such stores as Target, Kroger, Walgreens and Walmart.Right now there are 10 pages of coupons up........a few reminders for internet printable coupons:

1. Print any coupon that you "might" use - the most popular coupons will likely be gone within days as they will have reached their print limit and replaced with other coupons.

2. Print the coupon twice (remember after you print once, to hit the back arrow and then the refresh button - you can print 2 of each from this site)

3. Try printing in the a.m. -If a coupon has reached the print limit for the day, try early the next morning......sometimes they are reset overnight.

Walmart:(Remember that Walmart does price match local competitors ads. This is very helpful when items are out of stock at other stores. For example, Target has a $15 sale on Leapfrog games this week. If you notice all the games are out of stock or they don't have any of the games available you want to purchase, then just bring in Target's ad to Walmart and they'll match the price for you.

How to Decode a Bar Code

How to know if the coupon you have, will work on a product you want to buy?

Most of use match up the picture on the coupon to the product we want to buy. ?What we don’t know is, most the time that coupon will work for more than one item in that product line. ?The company will normally put the photo of the most expensive item, so we match the photo with the item, not knowing any other way.
If you ever have a coupon and you want to see if it will work for an item look at the bar code on the coupon and the item. ?If the first 5 numbers match ( in photo 18000) then in most cases you are able to use that coupon for that item. ?Make sure you read the wording on the coupon, and buy the correct size or number of items. When the wording on a coupon is vague ?this is a great tool to help you understand coupons. ?I hope this information helps you all become more informed coupon shoppers!
