EDY'S ICE CREAM $0.19 @ target
Well, it looks like Target has another sweet deal! One of my readers, Rachel, just let me know that her local Target sells the small 6 oz. containers of Edy's Slow Churned ice cream for just $1.19. Use the $1 Edy's Target coupon (no size restriction) to get each container for ONLY .19!
FREE RAYOVAC BATTERIES @ target
If your Target has a $$dollar spot (right in the front of the store when you walk in), snag the $1 batteries and use the $1 Rayovac coupon from the 06/21 SS insert! If you didn’t get this coupon in your insert (it was a regional one) you can still order them off of ebay for about $1.99 for 20 coupons!
PICTUREKA $1.64 @ target
Go HERE and print the $5.00 Pictureka game coupon. At Target, you should be able to find an end cap by the games that has travel games and card games. I just bought the Pictureka small card game from this end cap for $6.64 and used the $5.00 coupon with no problem- not even a beep at the register!! (The normal Pictureka game is $19.99.) Not a bad deal for $1.64!!

Albertson's 101 (jewel-osco)
Q: What is a Preferred Card?
A: At Albertson's you will need to sign up for a "Preferred Card" in order to get the sales price on their items.
Q: When Albertson's runs a Save $5 Instantly Promo (when you spend X amount of dollars, or X number of items) can I do multiple groups to Save $10 or $15 dollars at a time?
A: When it's a Save INSTANTLY promo, you can do multiple sets in the same transaction- and it will deduct the right amount of savings. Just be cautious and watch the register screen to see that it doesn't make a mistake. 9 times out of 10 it takes off the right amount of savings.
Q: When Albertson's runs a save $10 On Your Next Order can I buy 2 sets of products in the same transaction and save $20?
A: NO. When it's a SAVE ON YOUR NEXT ORDER you must do separate transactions in order to get a $10 Catalina each time.
Q: How do Albertson's Double Coupons Work?
A:
They are good on any manufacturer coupon up to $1 in Value
So, if you use a $1 manufacturer coupon, and then the doubler- they will take off another $1
If you have a coupon for $1.01 or $1.50 ect., they will NOT (or should not) take an additional $1 off
Since the Doubler is a Store Coupon- You can not use them in conjunction with another In Store Coupon. For example- If there is a In Store coupon (in their ad) you can not use that coupon and a doubler- since that is technically 2 store coupon (just like you can't use 2 manufacturer coupon on 1 item)
There is a limit of 3 Doublers per transaction or visit. In some areas the coupon specifies Limit 3 Double Coupons per family per day...
Doublers are typically good Sunday through Tuesday, but it is becoming more common for them to be good Wednesday - Tuesday
If you are buying an item for $1.88 and you have a $1 manufacturer coupon- and a Albertson's Doubler- THEY HAVE TO ADJUST THE DOUBLER DOWN TO $.88. Please don't let your checker tell you you can't use the doubler. Just nicely explain to them that you are not expecting overage, and that they need to just adjust down the value of the coupon!
Q: What is a Catalina?
A: Catalina Marketing Company operates the check-out coupon machines at Albertsons and many other stores. The coupons themselves are called Catalinas. Because these machines are not owned by the stores, many managers and employees are not as educated as they should be on Catalina Policy.
Go here for EVERYTHING you need to know about Catalinas!
Q: Can I roll my Catalinas?
A: YES! You can use your 1st Catalina and do a 2nd transaction with the same items, use the 1st Catalina to pay and a new Catalina will print!!
Q: Are your math skills are horrible as it looks when it comes to the Albertson's Match-ups??
A: No! Here's why:
When Albertson's runs a sale where you spend $25 and save $10 on your next order... we factor the $10 savings into the 1st transaction. This is deceiving if you are doing only 1 transaction, but for most of us Krazy Coupon Ladies we will take that $10 Catalina and use it on the next transaction in which we buy $25 worth of General Mills products. Often during the week we will do 10 transactions with products in the promo.

Homemade bubbles
If your kids are anything like mine, they spill more bubble than they blow. Well, here is a link to a website with several different homemade bubble recipes. Some use glycerin which I don't have on hand but several use corn syrup which I do. I am going to go make some and see how they work. This would be a great money saver for you this summer and your kids would have fun helping make their own bubbles!

How coupons change your life?
About a wek ago while navigating the furgality blogs I found a interesting topic of the day
How coupons change your life?
Here one of the most realistic cases I have read :
Amber, who said,"Coupons changed my life before I ever started using them! Last year my husband had a "mid life crisis" (at 28). I suddenly found myself a single mom to three kids. As if that were not hard enough, my youngest is medically fragile. She has had 15 surgeries in two years, and has spent a years worth of days in the hospital. We owe more in medical debt than the value of our home and the light of day seems FAR away sometimes.I was in complete shock and was in a panic about how I was to provide for these kids, keep them in a house, with a job (photographer) that is NOT steady income. And then a friend of mine showed up on my doorstep with a near laundry basket sized LOAD of cleaning supplies, HBA, food etc. I tried to pay her for it and she simply said... WHY? I got most of it for FREE. I thought for sure that she was trying to make me FEEL better but I would later learn that she was serious.I can remember coming home from my daughter's first open heart surgery. Our bank account was overdrawn, our credit cards were maxed out and we had a few spoiled items in the fridge. We had NOTHING to feed our kids. I remember how I felt like a complete failure.I have only been seriously stockpiling for 2-3 months now but in that time we have been able to keep our food budget to $50/week. We are gradually chipping away at the debt and hope to soon be selling our stockpile (in pieces) to pay off Kyleigh's medical bills. Moreover my kids will NEVER BE HUNGRY AGAIN. No matter how long we are hospitalized now I know I can come home to a fully stocked freezer with meats and cheeses, cereal (brand name at that!), rice and pastas in the perishables pantry... and I know that I can provide for them, even if I had bought NOTHING else... for at least a month.I am SO thankful for coupons. My husband is home now (thanks to some amazing prayer warriors) and we enjoying date night - COUPONING together. Coupons have inspired me, lifted my spirits, provided for my family, and have helped my husband and I bond again.Whether or not I win... It doesn't really matter. Thank you for allowing us to share our stories!!! Coupons are so much more to me than a few bucks saved!"
