Cheap homemade Poison Ivy killer spray

Here’s a very effective, environmentally safe and low-cost alternative to your commercial weed killer that contain harsh chemicals.

Mix together:

1 Gallon Vinegar (white or cider vinegar)

1 Cup salt

1 Tablespoon liquid soap, either dish soap or hand soap

For a quart size solution mix:

1 Quart Vinegar

1/4 Cup salt

1 Teaspoon of liquid soap
The salt will dissolve easily in the vinegar, then mix in the liquid soap and pour into a spray bottle and spray over weeds. For best results, use on a fairly hot day.

This weed killer solution will save you $30 – $80 versus commercial weed killer brands, as well as keep harsh chemicals from getting into the groundwater and surrounding environment.
